You can restore the database by selecting the restore iphone backup with iTunes.
Coming soon, is the ability to backup and restore the database by email. Join our mailing list at http://www.littleredrocket.co.uk/Support.html to be notified when this feature is available.
The videos on the website require Flash player to be installed within your browser.
If you do not have flash player, you can download and install it for free at : http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
You can contact us by email either using the enquiry form on the support page of our website at: http://www.littleredrocket.co.uk/Support.html or directly at: support@littleredrocket.co.uk
Simply touch on the plus sign in the bottom left of the screen to add a new task.
How much detail you add to the task is up-to you, but the minimum amount required is the name of the task. When entered, either touch “return” on the keyboard or “done” at the top right of the screen.
New tasks added without a due date are automatically added to your capture list.
Setting an alarm is simple. Within the task view, simply touch the alarm row. Set the date and time of the alarm and then push the “set alarm: button.
There will be a short delay while your device communicates with our central servers and the alarm will then be set. On the task screen, an icon will show to indicate that an alarm has been set.
Note that in order to set or clear an alarm, you must either have a current cellular or wireless connection.
Clearing an alarm that has previously been set and is no longer needed is simple. Within the task view, simply touch the alarm row. Then press the “clear alarm” button.
There will be a short delay while your device communicates with our central servers and the alarm cancelled. On the task screen, the alarm icon will be removed to show that the alarm is now not set.
Note that in order to set or clear an alarm, you must either have a current cellular or wireless connection.
To send or delegate a task, simply touch the envelope in the toolbar on the task screen.
Select the name of the person from your contacts and then when the task email is displayed, select “send”.
Note that you can add text to the body of the email before pressing “send” if you wish.
If you are sent a task by another user of Rocket Project, it will arrive as an email to your device.
Within the email you will see a link as: “Capture Task”. Simply touching on this link will start Rocket Project and take you to a screen showing the details of the task.
To accept the task and have it added to your task list, touch “Accept”.
To reject the task and not have it added to your task list, touch “Reject”
In either case, Rocket Project will generate an email back to the sender of the task to inform them of your decision. Simply touch “send” at the top right to send this email.
Note that you can add text to the body of the email before pressing “send” if you wish.
There are two ways to permanently delete a task.
Within the task list, stroke your finger from left to right across the task. A delete button will appear to the right of the task. Touch the button to confirm the deletion. Touch anywhere else on the screen to cancel the deletion.
On the task view, touch on the trash can icon within the toolbar. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to delete the task.
Please note that once a task is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
To delete an entire project, go to projects from the front screen and stroke the project from left to right. A delete button will appear to the right of the project name. Touching on this button will delete the project.
If the project has tasks currently associated with it, you will be asked if you either wish to delete those tasks as well or leave the tasks within your task list.
If you choose to leave the tasks, then they will still remain in your task list but will no longer be associated with the project that has been deleted.
If you choose to delete the tasks, then all tasks associated with the project will be permanently deleted.
To move as task to the sometime category, select the task and then from within the task screen touch the sometime row.
Then simply select “Yes” to move the task to your sometime list. To move it back, repeat the process and select “No”.
From within the task view, you can quickly put of a task (move its due date further in time) by touching the put off icon in the bottom left of the toolbar.
The number of days that the task will be put off for is set within the settings screen of Rocket Project. If you have not changed this, then the default is three days.
A handy tip for tracking tasks that you have delegated to different people is to set up a project as the name of the person.
By allocating all tasks sent to a person to the project of their name, you can quickly see all tasks for that person (and their current status) by selecting their project.
